Welcome to Chu Un Temple’s online website! Here we’ll update on the latest events and happenings on BLIA and in the Temple. Also, our Young Adult’s Division (YAD) has there site here. Please do visit them and see there activities. We also have our own gallery for all our activities!

    Congratulations on the success of Siddhartha. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see it. I was at the Short-Term Monastic Retreat in FGS Kaohsiung.

    I heard the video of it is out and available at FGS Manila. Haven’t seen it yet though. I’m looking forward to watching the real thing at the CCP.

    Hello,

    I was recently in Cebu City taking a month long intensive course on TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language), I truly wanted to stay in Cebu City for the next few years, but I found out that it is quite expensive to maintain oneself with just house & food, so I’m trying to contact BLIA with my intention of living within the Cebu Chapter BLIA, contributing and involved 100% in the daily experience as a buddhist. I’m 48 yrs. old, I’ve been a Buddhist all my life, and I simply need to live within the Cebu area to continue my development in humility and compassion. I will be ready to return to Cebu from September 2008 onward. Please send me a short email so that I might be able to understand which direction to take when speaking about living and surviving within the Philippines Cebu Chapter of the beloved BLIA.
