Best known as BLIA, Venerable Master Hsing Yun established this organization in 1992. The headquarters is currently located in Fo Guang Shan Monastary, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

BLIA is an organization in which Humanistic Buddhism is practiced in our everyday life. It is essentially an embodiment of cultivation that entails the participation in Dharma services and activities that are beneficial to society at large. Through the eightfold path, each Buddhist learns how to end suffering in which one is experiencing. In addition, BLIA also maintains friendly ties other religion groups.

Chu Un Temple is one of the temple hosting BLIA in Cebu City, other chapters are also stationed around the Philippines. They are located in Manila, Bacolod, and Ilo-ilo. More info about Chu Un Temple can be found here.

Welcome to Chu Un Temple’s online website! Here we’ll update on the latest events and happenings on BLIA and in the Temple. Also, our Young Adult’s Division (YAD) has there site here. Please do visit them and see there activities. We also have our own gallery for all our activities!
